What we're all about

-Festivalbus started in 2008 with a simple but unique proposition; to make travelling to festivals an easy and enjoyable part of the festival experience.

- We knew that travelling on a coach full of festival goers would create a special atmosphere, something our onboard reps ensure by playing music and getting people talking.

-We know festival goers are thoughtful people, and we think they appreciate being able to travel to European festivals in a greener way. 50 people on one coach is as many as 25 cars not driving and saves 50 people taking unneccessary short haul flights

- We're only too familiar with how bad it can be trying to carry all your festival gear from bus to airport to train station to shuttle bus with thousands of other people; which is why we know you'll love being dropped off and picked up right outside the festival.

The Festivalbus Story

Our story starts in 2007; when we were heading from London to Dour festival in Belgium. As a group of 15 or so, we though it would be a great idea to travel all together to Dour, but were disappointed to find our only options were flying or getting the Eurostar, both of which would be followed by journeys on packed shuttle buses with thousands of other festival goers and all their gear. "Wouldn't it be great if we could all travel together on one coach?" a bright spark said.

We ended up filling a 50 seat coach with friends and other people going to Dour, and quite a journey it was too! We knew we were onto a winner because the atomosphere on the coach was like no other transport we'd ever experienced. The combination of pre-festival excitement, music and good people meant we arrived at the festival in the highest of spirits. We even found the journey home was pretty cool; instead of trudging through busy train stations and airports, we met our coach outside the festival and relaxed until we were delivered back to London...

After much planning and discussing, Festivalbus.co.uk launched in 2008, running coaches to 4 festivals in mainland Europe from London. We learnt a lot in our first year, and formed a great partnership with Momentum Transport, who now provide all our coaches.

In 2009 we added 6 more festivals and 5 new pick up points, making it easier for people all over the country to get to Europe's best festivals.

As our reputation has grown, so have our relationships with all the festivals we stop at. We have arranged drop off and pick up points from outside every festival we stop at, making your trip even easier. We've also become an official ticket agent for a number of the festivals we stop at this year.

We love festivals and festival goers and we want to make sure your festival is unforgettable from start to finish. So whatever festival you're going to this summer, jump onboard Festivalbus and get there with a party!
